The completion of stage 2 of the Dunn Lewis Centre will generate economic growth of our region, creating jobs in the tourism and business sectors of the community.
The operations of the Centre will be directly aimed at the tourism industry, opening a skills centre for tourism and hospitality that will ensure young people have the practical skills needed for potential employees.
Stage 2 will provide:
Memorial Wall: External 40mt long wall behind a water fall at eastern end of the centre for Victims of the 2002 Bali Bombings local and international.
Auditorium:
- National standard in lighting, sound and design
- Maximum 1500 capacity theatre style for shows
- Ability to cater for international artists
- Touring performing arts
- Exhibition sporting events
- Local sporting activities
- Dance championships
- Expo’s
- Conferences and corporate team building
Gymnastic Facility: 200 local children, with ability to host Country Championships
Rock Climbing wall: Open to public and functions
Band Room:
- Band practice sessions
- Music lessons
- Recording studio
Commercial Kitchen: Cater for auditorium events, capable of serving 500 people plus.
Classrooms/meeting rooms for Training, programs and meetings. These rooms will also be used for break out areas as well as the green room for large productions.
