Bali Memorial Complex Progress Stage 1
The first stage of construction will culminate in the completion of the building perimeter and Bowling Alley installation, the western toilets, 65 external car parks and a kiosk. The lounge area will also be completed. We anticipate completion of Stage 1 building works by the end of 2009 if the current plan for progressive fundraising is maintained and enables the construction work to continue.

This is a unique project and a proto type model for rural and regional towns with the help all three level of government, but most of all ita will be a permanent memorial for those who lost their life's in the Bali attack. The Living Bali Memorial is
located on the corner Parson & St Vincent St Ulladulla NSW.

Shoalhaven City Council has worked together with the Foundation to ensure the project along with the State and Federal governments. Council has given their support to the project by waiving DA fees and section 94 and 64 contributions.

The State Government has supported and assisted from the initial concept of the project. Providing funding to facilitate early meetings between the Foundation and the three levels of government. Then allocating the 1.3ha of crown land on the corner of St Vincent and Parson Streets for the construction of the complex. Both local members Andrew Constance and Shelley Hancock also have supported and helped the Foundation.

Federal member Joanna Gash has been a great assistance with the Foundation's Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status and securing Federal funding with the Regional Partnership program along with Shoalhaven Area Consultative Committee.
