Construction Work set to commence

Dunn Lewis Complex to be built
June 11, 2009

Since the announcement of the $4 million dollar grant, Gayle and her team have been working hard with the Federal Government and Shoalhaven City Council finalizing all of the paperwork for the grant. All of the grant funds will be used on the project. Construction work will commence in the first weeks of July 2009.

Project Manager and Construction Workers Up-date

The project Manager for the site will be selected by the end of June to oversee the next phase of the works. Following the selection, an information meeting will be held for all tradespersons, subcontractors and labour, to discuss tenders and construction processes on the site.

Watch out on our website and the local papers for the meeting date.

Thanks to the Community

Thank you to everyone in our community for never giving up on the project. It has taken some time; however, with continued community support things happen at the end of the day. We are lucky to live in a town that gets behind community projects and fights for assets like the sea pool, cancer clinic, high school and our project.

The job is under way and your support will help bring it to completion. The Foundation is seeking financial support to continue its building program.
